Matt Head Funeral
My parting gift to my fellow employees at World Wide Wood was a small stress relief figure adorned with my name and the phrase: "It's my fault". I figured I had to replace myself as the scapegoat of the company. Apparently at some point in my abscence, it met with a violent demise. This was its funeral.

Trip to Mt. Ranier
The day after I got back into Olympia, I went up to Mt. Rainier with Kara and Daniel. I'm amused that I'd never been there before, considering I'd been in this area for 4 years. Turned out to be a very nice hike. Got to hear coyotes howling and elk mating calls along the way.

Oly Visit
Before I went to Europe, I spent a few days in Olympia, packing and hanging out. These pictures are mostly from Arts Walk and the Procession of the species. The reason there are so many is that I was trying out my brand new camera.
