Water Truck Haikus

Now, I know that the real reason people come to my website is for the haikus. So who am I to disappoint my audience? I found these on my phone (remember it's a palm phone) from when I was working my second season in Breck. On certain days they would send cashiers like myself down to the base of the slope with a little mini truck filled with drinks and snacks, with varying degrees of sales success. The catch is being that you're there alone with the money and merchandise, you can't move from that truck until someone comes to get you (only managers were allowed to drive the truck). So one particular day I spent writing haikus to pass the time. Enjoy this poetic gold:

skiers going by
ignoring my wares for sale
I ain't selling shit
boarders in the park
they doing some crazy shit
much better than me
roommates skiing by
on their break or not working
they are mocking me
I am warmer now
i just borrowed me a hat
thanks patricio
see the scraped bare slopes
each run kills a little more
we really need snow
I'm all alone here
think they forgot about me
when are they coming
